Humane Society issues thanks

To the Editor:

The Clay County Humane Society would like to thank everyone who supported the Jonah Fish Fry April 16.

The money goes to take care of our less fortunate animals at our shelter and we certainly appreciate it.

We would like to give a big thank you again this year to Pappy's Bar-b-cue for donating the baked beans. We would like to thank those who baked all the wonderful desserts this year. It was a great variety and everyone enjoyed them.

Also, thank you to Kay Wesley, who tirelessly calls everyone each year to get those desserts.

And, of course, last but not least, everyone who helped the night of the fry.

Couldn't have done it without any of you. You're all amazing.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.
