Family gives thanks for event

To the Editor:

On July 30, Melissa and Chris DeHart conducted the first Pierson DeHart Memorial Golf Scramble.

It was to honor their son and bless our son with financial help and bring awareness to both of their medical problems.

All proceeds raised were given to our family to help with Carter's medical needs.

My husband and I wanted to express our infinite gratitude to the DeHarts for the generous blessing.

We also wanted to thank Mark Rogers (Forest Park Golf Course), all golfers who came out to participate, the entire DeHart and Rissler families, Pepsi, Brazil Heating and Electric, Hoosier Homes and Land, Dr. Staadt, Clay County Furnace, Brazil Walmart, Steve's Home Repair (Carter's Papa and MeeMaw), J&N Metal Products (Jordan and Nikki), Cheryl's Cut and Curl, Baesler's, Lacy's Snow Removal, Tropical Sno, Rissler's Automotive, In Memory of Halie Hite (Pam), Lori Margason Photography, Kennedy's Crossing Bingo, Knights of Columbus, Terre Haute Savings Bank, Premier Tax, The Brazil Times, Johnson-Longo Construction, Pizza Hut, Brazil Family Medicine (Dr. Ross), Chart Inc., French Funeral Home, Rissler's Extreme ATV, A+ Printing, Clover Signs and Dr. Alicia Reed-Thomas.
