Food Pantry Chairman gives thanks

To the Editor:

On Friday past, I talked with the Mayor's (Brian Wyndham) secretary concerning a low spot in the alley adjoining the Emergency Food Pantry.

This low spot has been a problem for a number of years as it would hold water that would make it unpleasant to stop into when getting out of vehicles. I am pleased to report the problem was corrected within a few hours and we are well pleased with this service by the city.

Thank you Mr. Mayor and the men who performed this work. It was well done.
