Letter to the Editor

Even us dogs need help, too

To the Editor:

I am a dog. I too, live at the Clay County Humane Shelter.

I also am one of the lucky ones.

I will not be euthanized either.

I should have known that sneaky cat would meow first. Well, Bow Wow.

I also have clean kennels, good food, soft blankets and people who love and take good care of us.

I will not bother my caretakers to finish this letter. They are busy cleaning up after us. We are messier than the cats.

We also need brand name dog food, paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, and canned and dry food for kittens and puppies.

They will be arriving soon and all through the summer. If people would have us spayed or neutered, we wouldn't need the kitten and puppy food.

Thank you for the donations we have been receiving since the cat wrote to you. Cat says we still need clumping, scoopable cat litter, cat treats, beds, toys, cat nip, etc.

Cat is never satisfied.

Also, if you like dogs, we need to be walked. You are welcome to walk us around the grounds. Perhaps you will decide you like one of us and will decide to adopt me.

Thank you again very much.

Nola Blueher,

Brazil
