Ethel Catherine "Catie" Drake, 77, Santa Maria, Calif., died Nov. 25, 2012, at her residence with her family beside her. There will be no visitation or services. At her request, cremation will take place. Arrangements are being handled by Magner Mahoney Funeral Home, Santa Maria, Calif. Donations may be made to Central Coast Hospice at www.centralcoasthospice.com, or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at www.themmrf.org.
