Students see NASCAR truck up close
Automotive technology students at Northview High School check out a 1999 Cheverolet Silverado spec truck in the shop Tuesday. The 200-pound fiberglass body truck runs regularly at the Indianapolis Raceway Park, powered by a 305-cubic-inch Chevrolet motor with an automatic transmision. Larry Hall, from Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis, visited the school to talk to the students about pursuing careers in automotive and diesel technology and show them the race truck.
