Learning conservation at Nature Bowl
Hansford Mann discusses the importance prairie grasses play in the wildlife habitat areas of Indiana at the 2005 Clay County Soil and Water Conservation District Nature Bowl at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds on Thursday, October 13. Approximately 400 North Clay Middle School and Clay City Jr./Sr. High School 7th graders participated in the event. Individual student groups traveled around the fairgrounds to participate in various activities and listen to guest speakers before taking a test on the information. The winners are expected to be announced in the future.
