Author helps Clay County Celebrate Literacy

"We all have day-to-day stories, and that's all we really want. When it comes right down to it, all we want is to have someone listen to our stories," Author Phillip Gulley told the large crowd gathered at the "Celebrating Literacy Changing Lives in Clay County" event at Traditions on Tuesday evening. "To have a listening ear turned our way is one of life's greatest pleasures. It's a gift that we all truly need. Congratulations to Clay County for it's efforts in helping to spread literacy to its citizens. It's been an honor to be here."
