Coach pleased with help

To the Editor:

I would like to thank the Northview Lady Knights' soccer team for a great season.

I thank the parents for their support by allowing their daughters to play, for decorating their school lockers, for running the concession stand, and coordinating senior night.

I especially want to thank Patty Foxx and Patty Woodcox for their hard work in making the awards banquet a big success.

I appreciate the fans who came to watch us play. Their support was helpful and done with positive sportsmanship.

Cassie Webb and Garth Woodcox were good great examples of positive coaching and teaching.

I think our athletic director for her encouragement and making sure all the details were taken care of for our season.

I thank Nicole Gonzalez for supplying us with ice and taking care of our aches and pains.

I want to thank the businesses of the community who supported us and for the support you give to all the teams in the community.

The Lady Knights' soccer team won the WIC Conference for the first time, which means a new banner will hang in the gymnasium of Northview High School.
