Fire department issues thanks to all

To the Editor:

The firefighters and officers of the Jackson Township Fire Dept. would like to thank the community for their outstanding support of our Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast.

We rely heavily on community support through these fundraising events to lessen the burden on taxpayers and through your generous support, we can continue to provide progressive education, training and equipment to our firefighters to better support and protect the community.

We would also like to thank the following business for their help and providing supplies for this event: The Brazil Times for allowing the event to be posted online and in the Monday edition of the paper, Riddell National Bank for paper products and advertising, Hoosier Propane for use of enough LP gas to power the grills and Page's grocery.

As always, we strive to provide professional and timely service to the community.
