  • I look forward to the fall because it's a great time to hop on the motorcycle and head out into the country and enjoy the scenery. I especially like riding through Brown County when the leaves change, it's one of my favorite ways to relax.

That and getting out with the kids and walking through the state parks.

  • Harvest season when we get to pick all of the wonderful produce the earth has blessed us with from the summer growing season.

Watching the harvest moon over the golden corn fields.

    Going on hay rides.

Camp fires and roasting hot dogs at halloween parties.

Watching all the trees compete for the most colorful display of leaves.

Watching the squirrels gather and bury their fall treasures to eat when the snow comes.

Seeing the deer grow their winter fur and antlers and watch the doe's parade across the empty corn fields (and roads).

Gathering bittersweet, foxtail and ornimental weeds for fall decorations.

And last but not least...starting to burrow in for the winter ahead.

  • The most exciting part of fall is Marching Band. This year's show is going to be another great one. "Hat's Off" to all the band members and the staff.

  • I will enjoy the Covered Bridge Festival and the Colts game and being with my family and friends and I will enjoy the cooler weather outside and that is a perfect time to camp out in the back yard and go fishing

  • The best thing about fall is that the temepratures become tolerable. Fall is my favorite season with winter being a close second.

I also enjoy seeing the leaves turn colors.

  • The brilliance of color as Mother Nature paints the trees, and the coolness of the brisk morning in the mountains. While I may miss the change of the seasons in Brazil, New Mexico does have its advantages.
