To the Editor:

As another year is ending, Habitat for Humanity of Clay County is close to finishing its sixth house.

Our partner family, Gary and Anastasia Pine and their children, Emma, Corey and Chasity will move into their home in Clay City early in 2010.

This is an exciting time for all of us. The time has gone by quickly.

Habitat for Clay County has been very appreciative for the help we have received.

Many workers have given with their thoughts and prayers.

Many organizations, churches, families and businesses continue to help us.

Recently, CVS, Kroger, Jack's Fine Foods, Fiesta Salon, Papa John's, Dollar Tree, French Funeral Home, Insulation Supply, Sherwin Williams, Shuee and Sons, K-Mart, Pro Build, YMCA of Clay County and St. John's Church of Christ have donated monetarily or with gifts for the family. We thank each of you.

Habitat continues to need the support of Clay County to build other homes for new partner families. We would like to be able to help another family soon.

On Jan. 9, Habitat of Clay County will sponsor a Zumbathon at Clay County YMCA, from 9-11 a.m., in the community room.

Membership to the YMCA is not necessary to attend. As always, other donations are accepted.

Again, we thank you for your help. Best wishes for a healthy New Year.

Rogene Morge, President,

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County
