Organization grateful for help

To the Editor:

The Clay County Search and Rescue would like to thank the community for its support on helping the family that burnt out the week before Christmas.

With your support, and the support from Search and Rescue, the family said that they were pleased with the help that they received.

Derek Eaglin would like to thank the community and the Search and Rescue members that donated things such as a kitchen table and chairs, clothes, shoes, toys for the children, and a TV for this family.

To receive this help, it really goes to show how much this community and Search and Rescue can really come together in a time of need.

We would like to thank The Brazil Times for taking time to run this in the newspaper and everyone else who ran it in the paper, such as Greencastle.

Just watching the kids opening their gifts brought smiles to everyone's faces that were there.

So again, thanks for everyone's help on making this family's Christmas a good one after their tragedy.
