Reader thankful for kindness

To the Editor:

In this world with its turmoil and strife, there are many blessings to be thankful for.

This morning, a young man in his vehicle with a small plow on the front, came through the roadway behind our homes.

As he was exiting onto Pinckley Street, he saw me putting the cat out. He stopped and with shovel in hand, began shoveling my stairs and walkway.

I'm 83 and I was so blessed with his kindness. He said the blessing was his.

I didn't get his name, for which I'm sorry.

Please except my heartfelt thank you this way.

Sincerely,

Ila Crofton,

Brazil
