Going Red

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

February is American Heart Month and Cloverleaf Healthcare celebrated by wearing red Friday. The American Heart Association (AHA) promoted its "Go Red for Women," by sponsoring a National Wear Red Day Feb. 5. Every Cloverleaf employee was also given a Red Dress pin to remind them everyday of the importance of heart healthiness. The goal of the AHA is to raise awareness that heart disease is not just a "man's disease." Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States. Cloverleaf Healthcare has supported the campaign for the past two years. For more information about the campaign or to learn more about heart disease and stroke, log on to www.americanheart.org.
