Business partners a big help

To the Editor:

The Transitional Work Experience Program at Northview High School would like to express appreciation publicly for businesses personal interest, support and endeavor.

We would also like to thank the businesses who have provided a monetary donation to this program, which provides my students a paid/incentive to do their best at their jobsite and give the student motivation into their transition from school to work.

This year, the following businesses have provided our students with the opportunity to receive on-the-job training at their facility, which will help them make a better transition from high school to the adult work life: Berea Church, Bob Bowen Ford, Brazil City Park, Clay Community School Corporation Central Office, Clay County Transportation, Clay City Elementary, Cloverleaf Healthcare, Country Junction, Dollar Tree, East Side Elementary, Exceptional Living Center, Forest Park Elementary, Goodwill, Head Start, Humane Society, LEAAP Center, Lynch's Nursery, Miller's IGA, Northview Custodial, North Clay Middle School, Outback Gardens, Page's Food Store, Shew Veterinarian, Trail's End Café and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Business partnership with Special Education students can and does make a difference.
