To the Editor:

Clay Business Women held their annual Reality Store Monday, April 26, at North Clay Middle School.

For those who are unaware of Reality Store, it is a program for all eighth-grade students in the county.

It gives them a month of real life financial experience. It places them in the shoes of a 28-year-old with varying education, employment and family situations. They are given a month's salary and are expected to pay bills, make purchases and manage money with the goal of having money left at the end of the month.

This program cannot be carried out without the assistance and cooperation of a large number of people and organizations.

We would like to say thank you to North Clay Middle School for allowing us to use their gymnasium and allowing their students to participate. Terre Haute Savings Bank has our appreciation for its financial support. They have provided us the money necessary to provide any materials needed.

Thank you also to Evans Decorating for creating the booth spaces for us.

Lastly, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers. It takes many more people than our club members to set up, man the various booths, and handle all the students that pass through them. Without all of you, our favorite project would not be possible.

We appreciate all of the time and energy that you put into this, many of you year after year.

We hope that you realize just how much we appreciate all that you do for us. Thank you all so much.

Clay Business Women,

Clay County
