Relay For Life committee offers thanks to all

To the Editor:

We, the committee, would like to give a big thanks to all who helped to make the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Clay County a great event.

These include the survivors of cancer who are the heart of relay, sponsors, those who donated money, food and pizza for our midnight snack.

The teams and their captains are a very important part of relay, so a big hand to you for the time and effort you put in.

We appreciate the entertainment groups and the DJs for their time and talent, those who gave the many items for the silent auction, and anyone else who had a part.

This was truly a community effort and event.

We could not have accomplished what we have without each of you.
