Aluminum project ongoing

Sunday, August 21, 2011

To the Editor:

Yes, our church and friends are continually collecting those aluminum pop cans for the "Rice Project for the Children of Haiti," and the tabs for the McDonald House in Indianapolis, of which we personally haul to the McDonald House ourselves.

Our church pays for large leaf bags for pop can collection and pays for hauling to the scrap dealer in Terre Haute.

No expenses taken out and all funds are used for the rice purchase for the Haiti children.

We take a picture at McDonald House to let people know we deliver.

We thank Bedwell Tire for the gas and Eddie Dickison for the use of his pickup truck for hauling.

Don Bullerdick brought a load of pop cans today and Curves called with a nice two-gallon container of tabs. We appreciate all whom donate continuously and invite others to bless by donating pop cans and tabs.

Just call 442-6954, 448-2873 or drop off at Bedwell Tire on East Main Street.

Many thanks to those missionary minded ladies at Union United Methodist on Airport Road and the many other church friends whom have and continue to assist.
