To the Editor:

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County is thankful for the support of the community and area businesses at its April 14 Jonah Fish Fry and silent auction.

We had excellent attendance at our fundraiser.

We sincerely appreciate the donations from Jack's Fine Foods, First Financial Bank and Riddell National Bank.

A special thank you to the area churches that supplied the delicious desserts.

The publicity from The Brazil Times, Clay City News, The Tribune-Star and Clover Signs was important in bringing in patrons.

We thank everyone who attended or worked to make the event a success.

Our silent auction had many wonderful items and services from area businesses and one individual that were really appreciated.

Darrell Royer carved a bear for the auction.

Area businesses that donated were Fun Time Fitness and Aquatics, Curves, Harmony Diner, Hardee's, Timberland, Little Caesars, Long John Silvers, Subway, Pappy's, Pizza Hut, Brazilian Lanes, Oak Ridge Golf Course, Luxury Nails, Kroger, Dr. Staadt, Sugar N Spice, Fiesta Salon, York, YMCA, Miller IGA, Bob and Angie's, 3rd Generation Bar and Grill, Bob Burkle Ford, Mayberry Malt and Coffee Shoppe, Dr. Ross at Brazil Family Dentistry, New Elegance Salon and Spa and Maurizio's.

Thank you for blessing us with your support.
