To the Editor:

May 12 marked the seventh "Run for Riley Kids."

This year's ride raised $3,722, and was presented at the Miracle Ride June 2, to benefit Riley Children's Hospital.

We would like to thank all of the bikers who rode that day. A big thank you goes out to all of the businesses from Brazil to West Terre Haute that donated items for our silent auction.

We gained nine new $100 sponsors this year to have the name of their business put on the back of the shirts.

Leftover shirts were donated once again to the Riley Children's Hospital.

Sponsors were A-1 Sanitation, A to Z Muffler, Aamco Transmission, Accurate Insulation, Amber Glass, Burger Chrysler-Jeep, Derby Hill, Dorsett's, Dusty's Transmission Shop, Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, Honey Creek Collision, Illiana Trucking, Izaak Walton League of America, M&M Construction, Mattingly's, Riddell National Bank, Roger's Home Improvement, Wyrick Masonry Inc., Bourbon and Canal, 7th and 70 Liquors, Tagged Out Taxidermy and Archery of Bedford, UAW Local 2382, Sports Center of Bicknell, Kleptz, Bandwagon RV Rentals, Baesler's, Canada's Collision Center, Brazil Coffee Grounds, Pat's Café and Krambo's Kustom Kolor's, as well as cash donations from friends, neighbors and CMA members.

We would like to thank Ed D'Ammon, Jeff and Janice Witty, Bob Casad and Bob Wilson at Izaak Walton for cooking a wonderful meal and serving.

Also to Doreen Rude for donating desserts.

Dan and Judy are members of the King's Servants, which is the chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Members of the chapter were there to give their support for the run.

This year's Run for Riley Kids was sponsored by the Izaak Walton League in Cloverdale.

The run started at Pat's Café, then to Glory Days, on to Skid Row, then to Krambo's and ending at Izaak Walton.

Friends and our children worked all of the stops.

Denise and Sean Coakley and daughter Anna, Dennis and Barbie Henderson, Kathy and Keith Birkey, June Reed and daughter Kim, Lana Flowers and son Dylan, Brodee Jakob and Erin, helped with setting up.

I would also like to thank my sister, Carolyn, for all of her daily help and suggestions for a successful Run for Riley Kids.

Again, a big thank you to everyone who participated.

Judy and Dan England,

Brazil
