Search and Rescue grateful for support

To the Editor:

Clay County Search and Rescue, a volunteer rescue organization that provides Clay County with emergency medical services and extrication, would like to thank everyone who donated items for our raffle and dinner, which took place Saturday, June 16.

A huge thank you also goes to those who provided entertainment for the event as well.

We also want to thank everyone who attended. It is greatly appreciated, and with everyone's generosity, it allows us to continue serving you.

Search and Rescue answered approximately 300 calls for assistance during 2011, and is on track to answer more this year.
