Crowns off to members of the church
The Bible indicates that God loves the worship of his people. In one of the books, Revelation, I think, the 24 elders cast their crowns before the throne of God.
This is the season to bring such things to mind and I think God has to be pleased with all the adoration given His son by the churches in our area.
Certainly, one of the most impressive displays of worship took place this weekend on the 10-acre campus of First Christian Church of Brazil.
“The Journey” took place in Bethlehem and that area, including the manger where Jesus was born.
I didn’t go on all The Journey (I had no means of taking good photos by firelight.) But the scenes inside the church buildings were painstakingly recreated and the “cast” did an excellent job transporting those who attended back to those early years when Jesus was born. We know it wasn’t 0 A.D. and we know it wasn’t in our December but at this time of year in the 21st century, we like to remember the One who was born to give us hope.
Great job, folks. You gave a great Christmas present to all who witnessed your presentation. Many, from other churches, enjoyed your act of worship and adoration and made the season more inspirational for us all.
