The next Staunton Community Center Dinner, prepared by the Lady Volunteers, will be on Friday, January 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This month’s menu includes Beef and Noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, oriental salad, homemade rolls, dessert, and coffee, tea, or lemonade. The price is $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. As always, profits are used for worthy causes in the community.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship service at 10:30. Mark Miller is our minister. Wee Worship meets at 10:30 in the Educational Wing. Children’s Church meets with adult worship until after the offering is taken, when they dismiss to their classroom.
Youth groups meet at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
We extend our sympathy to Tina Whittington and family on the death of Tina’s mother.
The “Klothes Kloset” sponsored by our church is open to the public from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month, and from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month. Nice used clothing is available free of charge to anyone in need. The Klothes Kloset is located in the old church building. If you have any questions, you can call Tom and Amy at (812) 870-5719.

The Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3:00 to 5:00 on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next Food Pantry day will be next Wednesday January 31. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. As always, thanks to the folks at Staunton Christian Church, Knightsville United Methodist Church, Staunton Elementary School, and other churches, schools, civic organizations, local merchants, and individuals for your continuing support of the Food Pantry.
Keep praying for all those who are battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember to pray for all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
