A project talked about for years is happening for the senior class at Northview High School: They can reserve their own parking spot and decorate it too! Northview seniors and their families have been out in the hot sun Thursday through Sunday, painting parking spots. (The only rule was to not paint over the parking lines!) It cost $5 to reserve, and once the school approved the design, the cost of the paint supplies and a little sweat equity to create the unique "spots" for seniors to park during the upcoming school year. Organizers said the paint should hold up to the upcoming weather and last until Spring. The money raised by the event will be used for the upcoming Prom.
