Trooper won't be prosecuted, may face discipline

Parke County Prosecutor Steve Cvengros released his decision not to prosecute the Indiana State Police trooper accused of offering to tear up a traffic ticket in exchange for sex. "After careful consideration, I believe there is insufficient evidence to prove the trooper committed a criminal act, and therefore, no criminal charge will be filed. However, this does not prevent the Indiana State Police from disciplining the trooper," Cvengros said in a press release Tuesday afternoon...
