National tours highlight local racing schedules

The UMP Late models will make their first appearance at the Terre Haute Action Track on June 1 for the Tri-State Challenge. Area dirt track racing begins less than six weeks from now with the Action Track in Terre Haute kicking off action on April 5 with an open practice for competitors. One week later the track will kick off their regular season with the "Spring Fling" opener that will see the MSCS Series, UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks and Non-wing sprintcars taking to the dirt...

It's likely that the tears from Friday night's sectional loss to Mooresville is still fresh for the Northview Knights' girls' basketball team.
