North Clay boys just short in track

The North Clay boys team competed very strongly versus Woodrow Wilson last week but came out on the short end of a 60-40 meet score. Jordan Keller earned big points for the Knights with a first place in the high jump (4-11), the shot put (40-10) and was a member of the 4X100 relay team along with Matt Trout, Drake Stevenson and Seth Wright. The relay team won in 51.85. He also joined the second place 4X400 relay squad of Ryan Mafioli, Justin White and Jonathan Bradshaw to finish in 4:15...

Kathryn F. Knox, age 91, of Janesville, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Brazil, IN, on July 18, 1913, the daughter of Bradley and Emma (Smith) Lucas. Authorities hope public will identify Marshall, Ladoga bank robber

The Parke County Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in identifying and arresting a suspected bank robber. On April 12 the Farmer's State Bank of Ladoga was robbed by a lone masked gunman. The Brazil Concert Band's 2005 series of "concerts under the stars" begins Sunday June 5, 8 p.m., and continues through August 2 at the Forest Park Band Shell.
