Carter plays at NSA Nationals

The Indy Dreams softball team recently competed in the NSA 10-and-under fastpitch national tournament in Columbus, Ohio from July 23-29. They finished third out of 32 teams that qualified for the 'A' division nationals. Taylor Carter (second row, second from left), plays first base and had a tourney batting average of .652. She is the daughter of Shawn and Toni Carter and will be a sixth grader at North Clay this fall...

Staff Reports Wayne Newton Post 346 completed an unbeaten American Legion Regional Tourney by scoring eight runs in the top of the 11th inning to win the championship game 11-4 over Limestone, Ill. on Monday night. Trailing 3-2 in the sixth inning, Northview graduate Brady Shoemaker doubled down the rightfield line and advanced to third base on Nick Ciolli's lineout to centerfield.
