State will not conduct property reassessment

Until Thursday, Mark Barnhart was completely unaware the state might have conducted as assessment for Clay County. But the county assessor was pleased when he learned it wouldn't happen after all. Area youth perform well at state fair

INDIANAPOLIS -- Fourteen Clay County youngsters recently received merit awards at the 2007 Indiana State Fair for exhibits. One Clay County youth also received two merit awards at the state fair.
