The Staunton Elementary Student Council stands by more than 300 canned goods collected in their annual "Souper"Bowl can drive. All collected items were donated to the Staunton Food Pantry at the Methodist Church. Jackson Township Elementary students had a special visit Friday from Clay County Humane Shelter Manager Rick Moore and dog, Survivor. Students were encouraged to bring in items or monetary donations for celebration of the first 100 days of school.
