Only a few years ago, New Year's Eve meant so much to me. It still means something, but something completely different. Gone are the days of working only a half day and then making the trip east on Interstate-70 to Indianapolis to spend an evening of debauchery with friends, followed by a morning of realizing everything I was hoping for (regarding resolutions) had gone straight out the window in a matter of minutes following the strike of midnight into the new year...
