Red Cross kicks off 'Save the Day Campaign'

TERRE HAUTE -- The American Red Cross Wabash Valley Chapter and Jadcore, Inc., have teamed up to kick-off the 17th "Save the Day Campaign." The goal of this year's community campaign is to raise at least $65,000 in 60 days. Funds from the campaign will be used to deliver disaster relief to families who lose their homes to such events as fires, floods, tornadoes and earthquakes, as well as empowering youth with the skills and information needed before a disaster, accident or sudden illness strikes, deliver emergency messages to service members and their families deployed around the world, prepare National Guard and Reservist families for the deployment of a loved one and more.. ...
