Achievers beautify Staunton area

The 4-H 4-Ever Achievers Club kicked off a series of service projects on Saturday by clearing leaves, brush, debris and trash along County Road 425W in Staunton. The community can now drive past the hill that beautifully displays the word SPRING formed in daffodils. Habitat for Humanity fish fry, silent auction is April 12

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County will host its annual Jonah Fish Fry and Silent Auction on April 12, from 4-7 p.m. at the Brazil National Guard Armory south of Brazil on State Road 59. The public is invited to attend to support Habitat's home-building program. Advance sale tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-10. Children under age 5 will receive a free meal.
