City council approves third stop sign request in two months (Local News ~ 12/12/14)
A local resident's request for stop signs to be installed at the intersection of Pinckley Street and Chicago Avenue was answered this week by the Brazil City Council. Chris Kwiatkowski approached council members with his concerns during their Wednesday meeting. His home, which sits at the intersection in question, was struck by a vehicle a few months ago. He said that is just one of many cases of reckless driving in the area and he hopes stop signs can curb it... -

One day last week I was headed out of town and was stopped at a railroad crossing by our local train. Thanks so much to the good folks at the railroad who send these long, long trains through town.
