To the editor: I hope our Indiana Senators take the time to look at the facts and not run with the party line in the attempt to repeal the Common Construction Wage (CCW) law (HB 1019). This law has been around for over 80 years and continues to do what it was originally intended to do, keep local taxpayers' money... local! Republican House Representatives obviously don't care about Hoosiers and good paying local jobs, because they already voted to repeal the CCW...

Clay County finds itself on both the good and bad sides of a report ranking overall health among the state's 92 counties. In the 2015 County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, Clay County ranks 35th in the report's "Health Outcomes" category, which factors length and quality of life.
