County's jobless rate increases slightly

Clay County's unemployment rate increased slightly from April to May as growth in the number of those able to work outpaced the increase in number of those who found or have jobs. Clay County's non-seasonably adjusted unemployment rate came in at 5.3 percent for May, according to Indiana Department of Workforce Development data released last week.
