Ann Bradshaw received a standing ovation at her last Brazil City Council meeting Wednesday night. Bradshaw joined the council Jan. 1, 1992, and subsequently served as mayor before returning to the board. She was defeated by Steve Bell in the 2015 primary election and will leave office Dec. 31.
