Mary Madeline "Dixie" Shorter, 84, of Brazil, passed away January 14, 2016 at Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. She was born March 24, 1931 in Brazil, the daughter of the late David Jr. and Margaret (Gross) Davis. She was a part of the Brazil High School graduating class of 1949. Dixie exchanged vows with Robert R. Shorter on October 23, 1954. He preceded her in death in September of 2002 after almost 46 years of marriage.
