Winter weather advisory issued for approaching snow storm

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a winter weather advisory for Clay County and others for a snow storm expected to begin late Saturday, early Sunday. The advisory will end midnight Sunday. "A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties," the NWS reports. "Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility and use caution while driving."...

Traditions, 105 E. National Ave., was a busy place as couples combined celebrating Valentine's Day and helping a local charity. More than 120 people attended the dinner, silent/live auction and some dancing to raise funds for the Clay County YMCA.
