To the editor: This article is to the members of the 1954 Brazil High School Senior Class. For the past 63 years, I have kept in contact with a dear friend by the name of Lee Slack. The last time I wrote a letter to him was in January. A few weeks later I received a reply from his wife informing me that Lee had passed away on January 1st after being critically ill for over six months. Clay County barn to be featured in Bicentennial barn quilt

To celebrate Indiana's Bicentennial, the Indiana Barns Organization's goal is a 6-by-6 barn quilt from each Indiana county. The barns are to be 50-years old or older. The unveiling of the barn quilt will be Feb. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Morris-Butler House in Indianapolis.
