Sisters to conduct Winter Used Book Sale

For 12 years, the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, have conducted an annual Summer Used Book Sale. However, this year, the sisters have elected to put together another book sale, which will take place March 12-14. County Commissioners consider helping Van Buren Fire District get grant for new building

The Van Buren Fire District needs to either add to the building where its fire truck bays are located or build a new building to house the trucks, Fire Chief Tod Haring told the County Commissioners in a special meeting Wednesday morning.
