Ford honors Indiana Arts Commission

State Sen. Jon Ford (R-Terre Haute) honored the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) for their 50th anniversary on Tuesday at the Statehouse. The IAC was established in July of 1965 by the Indiana General Assembly. Gov. Roger D. Branigin originally appointed seven members to the Commission. Today, the IAC is thriving and has had many accomplishments over the past 50 years. Most recently, the IAC approved 139 grants for projects associated with Indiana's Bicentennial celebration...
