Formal charges filed in child pornography case

Formal charges were filed this week in Clay Circuit Court against the man accused of possessing child pornography at his Stan Mar Estates home on June 23. On Monday, the Clay County Prosecutor's Office filed two counts of child exploitation, a Level 5 felony, and six counts of possession of child pornography, a Level 6 felony, in the case against Alex Michael Johnson. A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf, and attorney Charles Hear was assigned to represent him...
