Clay City officials happy with grant

CLAY CITY -- Donella Baumgartner, president of the Clay City Town Council, called the grant and repairs to the city's water filtration system "awesome" during Tuesday's meeting. She praised National Water Service for putting in extra time to be sure temporary repairs to the filtration system will hold and said that after the $550,000 federal grant is applied and permanent repairs are completed, "Hopefully, we won't have to raise any water prices but the water will look much better and that's awesome.". ...
