Vigo jail tops ACLU inmate cap

This past weekend, the Vigo County Jail reached its highest inmate count of 370 inmates. Of those, 295 inmates were housed in the Vigo County Jail and the other 75 inmates were being housed at Parke, Sullivan, Knox and Daviess Counties. The increase of 39 arrestees over the Friday night, Sunday morning hours caused the numbers to spike beyond the ACLU cap of 268. ...
