Second Battle of the Fittest raises money for YMCA new equipment

On Saturday, 50 men and women competed on 10 teams in 10 events for the second Battle of the Fittest fundraiser at the YMCA. All were at least 18 years old and money raised through the $125 per team entry fees went to purchase new athletic equipment for the YMCA. The next event will be on June 2, 2018...

Softball program collecting water for food delivery program

The Clay County Youth Food Delivery Program delivers hundreds of meals a day and many people have contributed food, but what may not be considered is that with each meal, a bottle of water is provided and those bottles are rapidly diminishing, said Karen McQueen of American Softball Kids.
