Food program expands to southern part of the county

If you didn't already know it, an amazing group of people are now delivering to the southern part of Clay County. They have been given a home at Cory Community Church of the Nazarene. They are delivering to children on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They are also leaving shelf stable food, for the next day, with each lunch delivery. Indiana National Guard recruitment march stopping in Clay County

The Indiana National Guard will soon be marching to emphasize the need for new recruits and for re-enlistments. On July 30, the Recruiting and Retention Battalion will step off in Hendricks County, traveling west through Putnam County and stopping at the Clay County Courthouse on Aug. 3 where they will set up a tent on the southwest area of the courthouse grounds.
