The Town of Clay City Wastewater Utility will be smoke testing the sanitary sewer system beginning November 2th , 2017, weather permit- ting. To Identify sources of inflow and infiltration. Prior to this date , and occasionally thereafter, please add 1 gallon of water to all drains in your home or business. This ensures the traps are properly filled to not only seal out smoke , but also odors and potential- ly harmful sewer gases from the sanitary sewer collection system...
