James E. Shepard, 75, of Brazil, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on March 28, 2018. Jim was born on November 22, 1942, in Clay County, Indiana, the youngest of 10 children of Robert L. and Emily E. (Redmon) Shepard. Following high school Jim worked at Glen- Gery Brick Plant in Brazil for nearly 20 years before they closed. More recently he worked at Putnamville Correctional Facility as a Correctional Officer.
